Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd.
In 2001, Keisuke Unosawa took charge of new branding production for Virgin Atlantic Airways,
a British airline serving the long-haul destinations founded by Sir Richard Branson.
While expanding their business, Virgin Atlantic was seeking to establish a new branding concept for Asia. Based on Virgin's business philosophy, and still keeping its conventional designs and styles in Europe and the United States, Unosawa restructured Virgin’s total communication strategy and infused it to annual advertisement plans, internal branding, and onboard service improvements, as well as counter and lounge designs. Virgin Atlantic was revolutionary in the airline industry for transforming its brand from a mode of transportation to a luxury relaxing space and means of entertainment.
Virgin Atlantic has been a pioneer from owning Virgin Records, to produce new music scenes, and taking in innovative inflight entertainment. Respecting their innovative philosophy, Unosawa sought to further their ideas, while delivering the best journey possible for both customer and employee.
